Out & Amp'd was founded by Mitch Phelps, a lifelong music lover who has always believed in the power of live music to bring people together. The idea struck Mitch during a night out at a concert, when he realized how hard it could be for individuals to find others who shared their same passion for live shows. What started as a simple thought — “What if there was a way to connect people through the love of music?” — quickly evolved into Out & Amp’d: a nonprofit dedicated to creating inclusive, music-driven events that celebrate community, connection, and giving back.

Today, Out & Amp’d hosts themed events, benefit concerts, and creative social gatherings that amplify local talent while supporting causes close to the community’s heart. Mitch’s vision is simple: to make people feel seen, celebrated, and connected; one song, one show, and one good cause at a time.
